Some comments from people who have stayed with us:

Thank you for the superbly well-equipped & comfortable room, the hospitality of your home and the large, delicious breakfasts. Special appreciation for your directions, when we were lost in the Radisson development! How thoughtful were the snacks! My favourite: grapes & cheese & raspberry-chocolate sticks.

Thank you for a wonderful overnight. Your kindness and attention to detail was so welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. Loved all the Halloween décor, and especially loved the stained glass throughout the house. Thanks for all.

Something that touched my heart: So many extras, snacks, home-made desserts, toiletries, local papers, videos & books. Something Good: Great orientation, Seasonal décor was a pleasure. Something Funny: Porch fly swatters...but good idea. Lesson Learned: Well built structures can have a long life. Challenges: Catching up on 50 years in the lives of others. Thoughts for the day: It's good to return to area where you've lived in the past and see old friends. This is oure first stay at The Roselea and we were 'wowed". You can tell that Joe & Roselea have been travellers themselves as their Bed & Breakfast is prepared to meet every conceivable need ... and then some. We enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness everywhere and the very pleasant surroundings. Seasonal decorations were everywhere and a joy Roselea & Joe are a team extraordinary at breakfast and we had the heartiest and most well-prepared breakfast of any B&B we've ever chosen to stay at. Four stars! We appreciated your area advice & help in straightening out our incorrect reservation. Roselea is an excellent communicator in addition to everything else. This stay was concurrent with my 50th Baldwinsville high School reunion. Thank you both for keeping us so Comfortable and making us feel very welcome. We will spread the word!

Something that touched my heart: + Joe and Roselea's Hospitality. + The kindness of Syracuse fans. Something Good: + Snacks, treats, and breakfast at The Roselea. + The Isabel room is awesome. + Beauty of the Finger Lakes + Adirondacks. Something Funny: Coming all the way to Syracuse to watch Clemson lose and somehow have a blast. Lesson Learned: A #2 ranked Clemson team can lose to an unranked Syracuse team. + Tell your spouse about a different gorge hike before climbing all the stairs in Watkins Glen State Park. Challenges: Seeing everything cool in Upstate NY. Thoughts for the day: Beautiful drive from Syracuse to Geneva and to Watkins Glen State Park along the Finger Lakes wine country. (SO MANY WINERIES!!! SO MANY STEPS!!!), nice drive back through Amish country to Seneca Falls, and back to Syracuse. Yummy pie snacks at The Roselea, interesting dinner theatre (Montana Smith and the Curse of the Golden Crocodile) by ACME MYSTERY COMPANY at the Syracuse Spaghetti Warehouse. Next day, after an awesome breakfast, cool trip to Erie Canal Museum. Back to The Roselea for snacks, pie and a nap, crazy night at the Syracuse/Clemson football game (HOW DID WE LOSE?). Following day after an awesome breakfast again, an Erie Canal cruise in Herkimer, then a drive to Old Forge in Adirondacks to see the beautiful fall foliage, then a pizza dinner from Sal's. Last day, breakfast to go from our awesome hosts, flying back home - can't wait to come back! Felt like home - BETTER THAN HOME!!!
