What People Say...

Some comments from people who have stayed with us:

  • Christine and Marian from Hopewell Jct, NY 14-AUG-2021 Aiden Room
Something the touched our hearts: meeting Roselea's sister from Grand Rapids - she just returned from Alaska. The room is fabulous - bed so comfy. This was our first time in the Aiden room. Something funny: Could not figure out how to open the shade. Hint: pull the chord! Lesson Learned: Go have some fresh baked snacks that Roselea puts out each afternoon. Challenges: Never any challenges when you're staying at such a wonderful place. Thoughts for the day: This is probably our 7th or 8th stay at the Roselea. It is just as wonderful now, as it was when we first discovered the treasure. Our boys are at Oswego (grad school now) and LeMoyne (senior). We're hoping they choose S.U. or Oswego so we can keep coming back!

Had another wonderful stay here at the Roselea. Took my elderly parents this time around and they were quite impressed. I think I sold them on B&B's. Roselea & Joe are kind, gracious extraordinary people who make you feel right at home. The place is well-kept, the food is great & the location is just far enough away from it all. Will definitely be back.

Something that touched my heart: The care that is taken with every detail in this house - from Hershey's kisses to a well-presented breakfast plate to ironed sheets. Something Good: The food! Something Funny: you never know when you'll find Edgar Allan Poe in a foyer! Lesson Learned: Labels keep things straight and clear. Challenges: sometimes life requires more than one remote! Thoughts for the day: It might be pouring down rain at the moment, but this, too, shall pass. What a delightful stay in a beautiful home managed by two gentle souls that have a welcoming and hospitality down to a fine art! We leave here refreshed and renewed after a good sleep, first rate food and engaging conversation. We wish you all the best in your business venture going forward. We'll be back, if we return to this area again. Thank you!

It was surprising, at first, to see how at home they made you feel! But after that bit of being thrown off, I simply enjoyed our stay :). The area is peaceful, quiet, comfortable, and clean, and Roselea & Joe are absolutely wonderful and welcoming. If we come out this way again, we know where to stay.

This is a beautiful wonderland. The Aiden room is very unique and detailed. Roselea and Joe are wonderful hosts. The breakfast was very delicious and very expensive tasting. Roselea made everything - she is a wonderful chef. I definitely would like to come back and stay here again for a week.
