The front foyer welcomes guests upon arrival at The Roselea. Check-in is between 3 pm and 9 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. Early arrivals are accommodated with advance notification.

Breakfast is served in the dining room from 8 am to 10 am and 8:30 am to 10:30 am on Sunday. Earlier serving times can be arranged with advance notice.

Our menu offers a different selection daily. Slight variations or alternate selections may be prepared by request. Please fill out a Menu Request form before retiring for the evening. The dining room seats 8 guests. Outside deck or sunporch seating is also available, weather permitting.

Complimentary snacks and soda are available near the small refrigerator outside the guest rooms. A complimentary self-serve candlelight snack is available each evening in the dining room from 7 to 9 pm. Carry-in food should be consumed in the dining room or kitchen areas only. Plates and utensils will be provided upon request.

We offer an early evening turn-down service, room cleaning, and fresh towels daily. For longer stays, linen is changed on the fourth day. All linen is washed in allergy-free soap and is ironed.

The Roselea is a no smoking facility.

Meet the Innkeepers/Owners:

The Roselea Bed and Breakfast opened in March 2011. Roselea is a retired computer scientist and Joe is a retired bookkeeper. Returning to New York State after retirement, We we realized our dream of operating a Bed and Breakfast. We have two children, Timothy and Wendy, with families of their own. Roselea likes to sew and tat. Joe enjoys gardening and action movies.

We have traveled and explored many countries and studdies various area architectures over the years. We have always been interested in people and the hospitality industry. Roselea prepares the meals and tends the house and Joe cares for the grounds. Roselea and Joe both take pride in a clean attractive place for guests to stay. We enjoy innkeeping and serving our community in this delightful way. We hope you will visit soon.

Spooky:

Hi, my name is Spooky. I like to come around to greet our new guests when they arrive. I am always curious about new things and people. I am NOT allowed into the guest rooms at any time. However, I think it is great fun to test the waters when no one is looking. (I do get scolded for that.) Please keep your room door closed at all times so I can't get in. If you try to pet me, I will most likely duck down. Don't worry, that's just me.

As you can see in my picture, I have my winter coat on. I am a long hair, mostly Maine Coon. My owners take me to the groomer for a hair cut when I start shedding in the spring. (mouse over my picture) when I start shedding in the spring.

I don't understand why I have to have a hair cut, but I guess it has something to do with housecleaning. They also trim my nails regularly and bathe me. I don't mind, but I do hate the noisy hair dryer.

I am allowed to go outside during the day only. I love to play in my gardens. My owners make me stay inside when it starts getting dark. They say it is to keep me safe, but I think they like to spoil my fun.

I don't care too much for the snow, so I do spend more time inside during the winter. Usually I am afraid of noisy cars, but do keep a lookout for me before starting up.

You will not see me after 10 pm at night or before 5:30 am. I am required to get my beauty rest.
